About Anandadham

Ananda Dham is a remarkable spiritual and social organization dedicated to uplifting and serving all living beings through positive transformation. Founded just 15 years ago in the sacred city of Puri, Odisha by the revered Swami Subhananda Puri, this remarkable institution was born out of a divine vision to help and support the most vulnerable members of society – underprivileged children. But Ananda Dham’s scope extends far beyond just aiding the young and needy; it also seeks to provide profound spiritual guidance and growth opportunities for spiritual seekers, helping them deepen their connection to the divine and find greater meaning and purpose in their lives. Through its multifaceted approach, Ananda Dham is making an indelible mark on the region, using a holistic blend of charitable works, educational initiatives, and spiritual teachings to catalyze positive transformation not just for individuals, but for the community as a whole. Whether it’s providing nutritious meals, school supplies, and healthcare access to impoverished children, offering free yoga, meditation, and scripture study classes to local residents, or organizing large-scale community events and service projects, the tireless volunteers of Ananda Dham work tirelessly each day to embody the organization’s core mission of uplifting all through compassion, wisdom, and selfless service. In an age of growing materialism and disconnection, Ananda Dham stands as a beacon of hope, a living embodiment of the timeless spiritual principles of love, generosity, and reverence for all life.

Our Journey

Swami Subhananda with the divine vision that ‘Service to mankind is service to God’ – he set the mission to help the underprivileged children and at the same time worked for the spiritual growth by helping the needy Sadhus and seekers.

Swamiji with a small shelter took the responsibility of 40 needy children from the tribal districts of Odisha. With so much difficulties and financial, social challanges Swamiji never looked back. Not only this, within a short period of time, Swamiji joined hands with so many Social and Spiritual organisations like – The Art of living, Patanjali, Pyramid Meditation, The Divine life society, Lions Club, Rotary Club etc. Swamiji also organised and lead numbers of camps on mental-physical health, nature and medication.

With Swamiji’s untiring effort Ananda Dham is now a growing Spiritual-Social organisation to stand with the needy people of the society, to work for the growth of nature and environment and to co-ordinate the spiritual organisations.
